President’s Report – March 2026

What a tremendous and fast-paced start we’ve had to the 2026 netball calendar! The energy around our club has been incredible, and it’s clear that our members are eager and excited for the season ahead.

Before anything else, I want to extend a very special thank you to our Executive Committee and broader committee team. The hours of planning, organising, responding to enquiries, coordinating grading, liaising with the KNA association, and managing the countless behind-the-scenes details do not go unnoticed. The work that happens outside of training nights and game days is what keeps our club running smoothly. Your dedication, patience and teamwork during what is always a demanding start to the year have been exceptional.

The beginning of a season always brings its challenges from grading logistics to member questions and communication, but it also brings opportunity. Opportunity to welcome new families, to reconnect with returning players, and to continue strengthening the culture that makes Kiama Central so special. I am incredibly proud of the way our committee has navigated the busy period with professionalism and unity, always keeping the best interests of our players and members at heart.

As teams are announced this week and begin to settle and the competition gets underway in May, I am particularly excited to watch our junior players develop in skill and confidence. The growth we see each year both on and off the court is a testament to the support of our coaches, volunteers and families. It truly takes a village to build a thriving club community.

I would also like to acknowledge our valued sponsors and supporters. Their ongoing commitment plays a vital role in allowing us to provide opportunities and experiences for our members throughout the season.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to Kiama Central in big and small ways. The start of the year may be busy, but it sets the tone for everything that follows and if these first few months of the year are anything to go by, we are in for another fantastic season.

Thank you, Jackie Hall
